The Confessions of King James

Every year, King James advertising agency creates a Bible-themed notebook for clients. For the latest Book of King James, we wanted to find an enduring way to share the shenanigans and stories that inform and entertain the agency's staff while we create work for our clients. So, we asked staff members to confess their deepest, darkest agency and advertising secrets anonymously by writing them on a slip of paper and popping them into a confession box. These confessions became the secrets hidden within the pages of the new notebook. The inside cover was die-cut to mimic the screen in a confessional booth, so readers felt each intimate admission was their own precious secret; we even concealed our name behind gilded edges. The books were delivered to clients as end-of-year gifts, where they could discover a unique and uncensored look at the rich culture of the people behind the job titles and work.
